February FUN!

We had a snow day a couple of weeks ago. We took Max out for about 3 minutes (after spending 10 getting him all bundled). He wasn't a fan. TOO bright for those baby blues!

Will you be my Valentine?

time for an update...

So, since our last post (I know, it's been forever) Max has gotten to do lots of new things! He has started eating rice cereal mixed with a little fresh from Grammy's garden veggies. He has also started getting a tooth on the bottom. Man, that's not fun to go through poor guy. I am sure it's not as bad as some of the stuff from his stay in the hospital, but can't be fun by any means.

Here are some of his 6 month photos that our friend, Dave Lang shot for us. They are really beautiful. Thanks Dave Lang!

our family christmas photo

We can't believe that Max is 6 months old already! He was weighed the other day at the doctor's and is up to 17 lbs. We're hoping to switch to real food when we go to the doctor again today! He is cutting a tooth on the top of his mouth, hence the eating of the hands. He is our PRIDE and JOY!

Our 1st Christmas with Max

We had LOTS of fun in Ohio for Christmas. The first few days were a rough adjustment for Max, since there were lots of people excited to see him and he's used to being around mom, dad, his pups, and his nanny. By the end, he loved all the attention and love. Here is one of my favorite pictures for years to come, I am sure....Max leaving cookies for Santa.

Getting ready for our first Christmas

I was so excited to order stockings for our family! We didn't really have or use stockings growing up, so this is a new tradition for me. Scott's family got gifts in their stockings on St. Nick's Day, so we did that this year. Max got 2 pairs of Christmas socks in his stocking. He was so excited.

We had a full house on the glider the other day. The pups really like to nap with me...and I spend a lot of time with Max, so in turn they like to nap with their baby brother. I couldn't believe they didn't wake him up. Guess it really was cold enough to be a "two dog night".

car seat

So, the other day Scott's mom (Grammy) said she couldn't believe how big Max looked in his car seat. I decided to go back and look myself. Check it out..

This is the week we brought Max home from the hospital (8/8/08). He weighed about 5 lbs.

This was last Wednesday (11/26/08). Max weighs in now about 14 lbs!

Amazing what a difference a few months can make!

our 1st holiday season....

We just celebrated our first Thanksgiving as a family. We have so much to be thankful for this year. Our gift of blessings was and continues to be abundant. Here are some photos from our lives over the past few weeks.
