I was so excited to order stockings for our family! We didn't really have or use stockings growing up, so this is a new tradition for me. Scott's family got gifts in their stockings on St. Nick's Day, so we did that this year. Max got 2 pairs of Christmas socks in his stocking. He was so excited.
We had a full house on the glider the other day. The pups really like to nap with me...and I spend a lot of time with Max, so in turn they like to nap with their baby brother. I couldn't believe they didn't wake him up. Guess it really was cold enough to be a "two dog night".

car seat
So, the other day Scott's mom (Grammy) said she couldn't believe how big Max looked in his car seat. I decided to go back and look myself. Check it out..

update on Mighty Max
update on Mr. Mighty Max:
Max is weighing in at 13 lbs, 8 oz these days. He started getting his Synagis treatments this week (to protect him for getting RSV, which can be very dangerous to preemies). Not fun, but we know it's worth it.
So, somehow we used to be able to make it on 2 or 3 hours of sleep at a time, but now Mr. Max is sleeping through the night. How come I want more if I get 6 hours now?
We made the switch to cloth diapers- thanks Aunt Susie! LOVE them.
We'll be having our own Thanksgiving dinner this year as a family of three in St. Louis. I'm kind of excited to start our "family traditions".
One "new" picture....it's from our little sister's wedding in September. I can't believe how much Max has grown since then! Scott and I have a very similiar photo from our wedding day in the exact same spot. Thanks Lisa and Drew for letting us update one of our favorite shots from our day on your day!

hilarious video.
I took this video of Max the day before Halloween. I just crack up when I see it. There is a camio of Jack involved. Enjoy!

Having lots of fun being 3 months old
Max is learning new things every day. These past 2 weeks he has learned how to smile, suck his thumb (he goes for the left one only), and blow bubbles. He's SO much fun to have around. We are having a blast with him. He loves watching football on Sundays with his Daddy. He really is gets in a trance when he sees the TV!
So cute...
almost caught him smiling...
alright, I'm tired of the camera now...
woke up just in time for football...
He is now starting to look for toys, so he spent some time under his VTech thing-a-jig from Aunt Carrie and Uncle Jim. He liked for a solid 7 minutes.

Max's 1st time pumpkin picking
This past weekend, Aunt Emily came to visit from Washington DC. We had lots of fun together. On Sunday, we went to Thies Farms to get Max's very 1st pumpkin. It was 85 degrees and we were sweating, but we knew fall would be here soon.

Max is baptized!
This past weekend, Max was baptized at our church, Manchester United Methodist. He did great! He got to wear the baptismal gown made by his great-grandmother, Maxine, for whom he is named. All 12 of her children wore it as well as lots of the grandkids to come, including Max's daddy! He looked so handsome. He also wore the medal that his grand-meme in France had made for him. It was a truly joyous occassion!
The baptism. Max's godparents are his Aunt Lisa and Uncle Drew. Rev. Chris Williams performed the ceremony. Proud Mom and Dad watch on...

Max meets his new best friend, Ben
Max took his first trip to Maggie Moo's tonight. Though he didn't get any ice cream, he did get to meet his new best friend, Ben!
Ben and Max are having their first "talk" while the Dads watch on. Ben's telling Max that they need to leave soon- the KU game is coming on.
